β€œApple's AI plan is expected to change the game β€œ – Wedbush

According to a report from Wedbush published after Apple's annual WWDC event in Cupertino, the tech giant's recently revealed artificial intelligence (AI) plan is expected to revolutionise the game.

Updates on Apple's AI strategy and improvements in the hardware and software ecosystems, which are anticipated to propel growth in the upcoming years, were highly anticipated by the company's analysts. The commencement of its AI approach and significant improvements to the operating system ecosystem as a whole were two of the main features.

In what Wedbush describes as another "flex the muscles moment" for the firm, Apple unveiled a plethora of software improvements ahead of a busy 6–9 month product cycle that will be led by the release of the iPhone 16 later this year.

Apple's AI strategy centres on Low Latency Models (LLMs) and personalisation on phones, using the company's large installed base. This may change Cupertino's development trajectory and lead to an iPhone upgrade cycle driven by AI, beginning with the iPhone 16.

The tech giant unveiled Apple Intelligence, a new personal intelligence system that uses this technology to improve its applications. Additionally, it uses generative AI models to enhance the usability of already-existing apps and produce a more intuitive user experience.

Additionally, Apple announced a significant collaboration with OpenAI, supported by ChatGPT-4o, which will offer more comprehensive domain knowledge and world knowledge for Apple products. Later this year, iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and MacOS Sequoia will support this technology. Without making an account, users may use ChatGPT for free, while premium subscribers can access more sophisticated services.
