The Information reports that the corporation is developing an iPhone that folds.
According to individuals with direct knowledge of the matter, the tech giant is reportedly 'creating prototypes of at least two iPhones that fold widthwise like a clamshell,' which might be the most radical design shift in the history of its best-selling device.
Should a foldable iPhone become available, it would face off against Samsung's Galaxy Fold, which debuted in 2019, as well as other devices with a similar design made by Motorola, Google, and a few Chinese companies.
In general, foldable phones are regarded as "relatively niche," and their prices are often higher.
