The Hang Seng & Nifty hovered around all-time highs today as traders await US inflation figures. This morning Vodafone, Ocado & BT lead the gains for the FTSE 100, with Flutter, DCC and Rio Tinto leading the losses. Looking at the economic calendar today we do have the US PPI, which tracks producer inflation. This could give insight into the CPI tomorrow. Looking at the earnings, Home Depot and Alibaba are due to release their earnings reportings for Q1 before the US bell (about 12-2pm UK time).
