Nationwide and HSBC impacted by banking issues

Issues with HSBC and Nationwide's banking services have affected its customers.

The consumers' "having issues accessing personal online and mobile banking" was something that HSBC acknowledged.

Some clients of Nationwide have not received wage payments, the company announced on X. Similar issues were earlier on Friday, according to Virgin Money, but they have already been fixed.

"Really sorry" was how the bank expressed its regret for the problem.

The bank acknowledged the grievances of its disgruntled clients who had responded to the article, stating that it was "working hard on a fix".

Numerous clients said that the actual closing of branches left them with little to no access to services.

In the meantime, Nationwide said that it was having problems as well after receiving complaints about its X account.
