An SEC filing revealed that UiPath has declared plans to reduce about 10% of its global staff.
UiPath claimed that the change is a component of a reorganisation plan to increase operational effectiveness and customer focus, and the Board approved it on Monday.
With 4,200 employees globally, UiPath hopes to finish the majority of these layoffs by the conclusion of the first quarter of its 2026 fiscal year.
"The business projects that it will have to pay $15 million to $20 million for benefits associated with employee termination and roughly $2 million to $5 million for lease exit and other contractual expenses," the filing stated.
"The estimated total restructuring costs, which range from $17 million to $25 million, are primarily expected to be paid for with cash and are anticipated to be incurred by the first quarter of the 2026 fiscal year."
